This field of action, mainly led by ICIMOD, enables change through innovation. Innovative climate resilient agricultural practices are identified and tested in action-oriented research regarding their viability in specific altitudes and ecological zones. Action-oriented research is conducted in close collaboration between universities, research organisations, farmers, and other value chain actors. In this field of action, we encourage young students and researchers to develop applicable knowledge and establish innovative partnerships.
