Agriculture fair in Dadeldhura

With the aim of spreading awareness about Climate Resilient Agriculture practices to a broader audience, GRAPE and its partner organizations showcased their implemented and adapted CRA measures at a stall in the Dadeldhura Fair organized in Amargadhi for 11 days in a row.
The event, organized by the Dadeldhura Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) in March, saw GRAPE partners, the Agriculture Knowledge Centre , Dadeldhura, and other development partners, jointly showcasing their interventions and practices at the Agriculture Trade Fair under one banner, across a series of continuous stalls.
The showcased CRA technologies included Jholmal (Jholmal 1, Jholmal 2, and Jholmal 3 along with their preparation details (composition), vermicompost, vermi-wash, Gumbos demo, Bio-char demo, indigenous crops, various biological disease and pest control tools, lures, and traps. Likewise, GRAPE crop calendars were displayed and distributed to over 280 farmers from different municipalities who visited the stall.
An estimated 6,500 to 7,000 attendees visited the stall, displaying keen interest in the array of CRA measures implemented in agriculture
